I am putting in ceramic floors in the bathroom. We had some water damage to the subfloor. The joists are ok but the wood overlay needs to be replaced.i started cutting out a section of subfloor and noticed that the joist along the back wall goes way under the reach of where i am able to cut.I know I could use the nearest joist to nail down new wood but I need it to go all the way to the wall. Any suggestions would be great.
