My daughter just replaced her older TV with another , and now cant get all the channels, .? Why it has a coax cable plug in back of the set ?-Model Sharp Linytron made july 1987-- model 255MT-- sn325155 [another possibility, the remote that came with it has a memory button but she cant get it to work, no instructions] you can email me ----- ronplanes@cs.com

Most likely the set you purchased has a history of Motel use or something similar. Those sets were not designed to receive the hyper channels (anything above Channel 36).

The fix is simple. Put a VCR in the antenna circuit and use the VCR's tuner to get the higher channels.
