I forgot to ask this in my last message.
This table also has a couple of places where the wood is
splintering off. Any suggestions???

Depends on exactly where the splintering is happening. If it's on an edge, you have a couple of options, including filling with plastic wood, the sanding back the shape, or sanding out the splinter entirely until the edge is smooth.

If it's in the top, your options are limited to filling the damaged area, sanding out the filler, then finishing.
