My daughter just replaced her older TV with another , and now cant get all the channels, .? Why it has a coax cable plug in back of the set ?-Model Sharp Linytron made july 1987-- model 255MT-- sn325155 [another possibility, the remote that came with it has a memory button but she cant get it to work, no instructions] you can email me ----- ronplanes@cs.com

Good Morning, Lynny:

There's a good possibility that the replacement TV installed was never designed to pick up the "hyper" channels, channels above Channel 36. If she picked up the replacement TV from a Motel sale (or something like it), then this is the problem.

Fix? Put a VCR in line with the antenna and use the VCR tuner to select your channels.
