I really like the idea of a tiled work top in my kitchen but my friend, who had this done recently, hates it as she feels the grout is never really clean. Another friend has suggested she covers the tiles with glass or perspex. Has anyone ever done this ???? do you have any other ideas ??? does anyone know where I can get an imidation tiled work top ??????

Anyone who has ever tried to keep a tile bathroom really clean can relate toy our quandry.

Formica, WilsonArt, and Micarta are three widely known brand na,mes of laminate material for counter tops. They all offer imitation tile patterns. Check with your local dealer.

Hydroment sells a grout sealant, so it's not so pourous. They sell epoxy grout too. Check into it more, but I think one of these products would help.
