I am renovating a small 10 by 12 room that is on a concrete slab. At one end of the room the slab is depressed about 1 1/2" almost as if there was once a drain there but there isn't. What would be the best way to level the floor?

Self Leveling Compound is what you will need. Ardex, Cement-Pro and DAP are 3 brands that are well known in one part of the country or another.
