Entertainment Center: TVs, Stereos, VCRs and DVDs - convergenc promblem help

i have a 56' zenith modle#rz56z83d7 i think i had a power serge and my tv went out .i had a repair guy come out to fix it and he replaced the power suply board and the tv came on but the picture had a 3-d afect.like the red 'blue 'green colors split up and they shadowed every object on the screen.and it bows in a litle from the top and bottom.then the repir man tried to ajust the convergenc.went to projo set up on the menu and the lines would not move.so he replaced the covergens board and i still have this problem?he checked the B+ votages to the convergenc board is ok all power suplys are ok.also checked resistor r3243,r3244 they are ok.he does not no what to do next?do you have any more sugestions?i want to keep this tv. so please dont tell me to throw it in the trash like my wife does. please help thanks for your time.

When the unit does not converge then look to the deflection circuits for a burn out.

Here's one Zenith problem that is similar (different chassis but similar):

projection TV gets video and sound but I cannot get the colors to converge. The colors will not adjust at all, but the red and green jump up and down all the time. Also the colors are pulled off the right side of the screen.
If the menu does not work, your problem is most likely a defective R3243 (110k 1/2watt) located near horizontal yoke connectors. Otherwise check the convergence module 9-1690, for open 1 ohm resistors. Located near large heat sink.
