I have just completed my last row of my Pergo Prodigy Install. This leaves a 1 inch gap from the base board to the last row. Minus the 1/4 inch spacer, this leaves a total of 3/4 inch. The instructions say you have to have 2 inches or more on the last row. Has anyone tried to use less than the recommended 2 inches on the Last row?
How were the results? I could use some advice.

Tex, Because this is a glued assembly, you don't have many chioces. Have you removed your base boards ? (moldings) Tell us your plans for moldings. 1/4 round?, Base?, a combination of both?. What room(s) are involved? A trick molding scheme may be your best bet but more info is needed. If you do it again and for others reading this, measure the room and calculate the plank lay out before you start. Then rip the planks in the first row to allow for a similar plank width on both the first and last row in the room.
