I have a chair to upholster. It is a wooden chair with only the seat covered. the trick is...rather than just a flat seat to cover it is like a box. I don't know if I need springs for the box or just a board for the top of the box. Then just staple the fabric to the top board.

Cindy:
While I have sometimes done minor upholstery repairs, I don't consider myself an expert at it at all..
Perhaps one of our readers will come up with another suggestion, but here's a web site that has a forum (with a number of experts) dedicated to upholstery. The site is rather large, so go slowly - you'll find the section I mean. It has articles as well, for downloading.
