I have a 50in Mitsubishi and the rest of my compoentes are Sony, recievier, speakers, DVD, VCR, and of course a General Instruments cable box. My volume is controlled through the receiver. What I am looking for is a remote that will control all of these components. But I need it to automatically select AMP or RCVR when I press volume. The reason for this is that my cable box has a volume cintrol and my TV does too (even when I have the TV speaker turned off if you press volume enough it comes back on). Having the volume changed by all these diff components causes a real headache. Its a a real PITA to select RCVR everytime plus theres so many people in yhe house its bound to get messed up. Thanks for any help you guys can give me.
