My a/c unit is running, but won't cool the house.
I have a Trane unit, and have never had trouble w/it before.
The fan on the unit is running, and the condensate pump is working properly as well. I need better insulation in the attic, but this is a problem that has just recently started.
I have a programmable thermostat, that I have set for 80 degrees. I feel cool air blowing out the vents in the house, but the reading on the thermostat continues to rise.
It's not even that hot outside now - 80-85 degrees. While inside the house it's 85-90 degrees with the unit running.

I want to put a urethane-based finish on my currently 6x6" parquet wax finish floor. It hasn't been waxed for 2-3 years and has a very dull finish. What must I do to prepare the wood for finshing(sanding, etc.), and can I use a tinted urethane instead of having to stain and finish separately?

Once a floor has been waxed, you will have to stay with a waxed finish. Go to www.finishingwoodfloors.com for helpful info.
