I'm wondering if I can bring out some shine from my hardwoods. They don't appear to be in bad shape, just rather dull. Is there a suggestion on how to do this without having to go through the whole process of sanding and refinishing? Thanks for your help.

Is the floor in good shape? No wear patterns, deep scratches etc.
If so you might be able to get away with roughing the floor with 150 or 220 to gat a coat of semi or gloss poly on there. Do you know what type of finish is on now? You can go to a corner and scratch the floor with a coin if the finish flakes off its time to refinish.
