I have a 20 yr. old Carrier heater and air cond. I replaced the thermostat because I would have to turn the heater on and off a few times before I heard the gas light. It worked perfectly for a week, now it will not light at all. I can light it manually with a long match, but as soon as the house reaches temp. the gas shuts off and will not re-light. It has a spark type ignitor, but no spark.

If your not getting spark- Pilot assembly could be very dirty, loose ignition(spark)wire, more than likely it is the module.
