Hello mustng77 and Welcome to the Heating and Cooling forum and our Do-It-Yourself Web Site.
Unfortunately, your question requires more information in order for the forum to reply back with specific information.
Your mentioned that the furnace is IN the garage for heating the home? or IN the garage for heating the garage?
What brand is the unit? What model? What year? What type of ignition system? Pilot flame that is always ON, an electronic sparking system or glow coil ignition? Where is the thermostat located? Is the unit equipped with A/C? Does the unit have heat registers in the house?
There are many questions which need to be known to supply you with wiring information.
In depth and detailed information regarding the problem, helps to explain the situation your dealing with in a manner that allows myself and or several other professionals, in this forum, to offer the best possible helpful suggestions and advice. Any and all detailed information would help greatly.
>>Please include details regarding any recent repairs made, if any. Details are always helpful for those of us replying back to know.<<
Your assistance in this matter would be beneficial.
