I have had my surround system for several years, recently I am having problems with voice volume (center channel) and a significant amount of background bass in the audio portion, seems like it takes place on all TV channels. Goes away when I convert to another audio signal type or turn off the prologic. Audio signals good to all speakers, can adjust volume on all 4 positions : L, center, R, and rear. Even delay to rear works. Not the speakers, seems to be in the Onkyo amp. Can you check amp output to speakers?

We recently moved into our home and we already had light brown sofa and loveseat...it is a nice camel color almost. Well the carpet in our house is the same color! Then add to it we have a medium colored wood entertainment center and computer desk in our living room and we have a lot of brown! I also sell Longaberger baskets so there are alot of that natural wood color baskets everywhere.
We need to repaint all the downstairs because the owner has flat white paint everywhere, and the walls are looking awful. I need to pick a color that will maybe brighten the room, not make it look so brown? What color should I use?

Sounds like you need a little drama! What accent colors are you using? Pick a color from a piece of pottery, a pillow, or something you love. It should be a color you love. Bring some paint chips home and study them several times during the day when the room receives natural light and at night when you have artificial lighting. Remember paint will not always be like what is on the paint chip. I once read a general rule of thumb was to find the chip you like and then go one chip lighter. You can experiment with paint colors online at www.benjaminmoore.com.
In general, reds and oranges make a room exciting. Yellows, oranges and reds can make a darker room look brighter. Greens, blues, and purples can cool a too sunny room. Dark blues and browns make for a cozier room. Blues and greens are calming. So, picking a color may also hinge on what type of mood you are wanting to achieve.
There are lots of helpful sites on the web with info about choosing a paint color. Some of these are:

Something I do to make picking a paint a little easier is bring home 2 of every chip and tape them to different walls in the room, then leave them up a while, sometimes as long as a week. As I decide I don't like one, I take it down. That's the easiest way I've found to narrow it down.

I use alot of Benjamin Moore Paints. I love the color Tate Olive. It gives a rich look to golden oak stained woods and tans/browns. It looks best in a eggshell sheen. I think a deep wine color would also look very nice. Hope that helps a bit.
