i have a gas furnace my question is when it reaches our desired temp it cuts off just fine but about 30 seconds later it will cut back on for about 5 to 10 seconds and cuts off it only comes on 1 time after a normal cycle is this ok or what. thank you

Sounds like there is either an intake air restriction or an air flow restriction. Check the filter and open all registers.
If the unit also has A/C, the coils could be restricted with lint and dust.

If it's not igniting the gas, then it could just be your fan switch setting.
