Has anyone had a bathtub reglazed? I wasn't thinking of doing it myself, but there are companies that say they can reglaze a bathtub in a new color. Does this really work? Any suggestions would be really appreciated.

I have read that from the standpoint of long-term durability that the reglazing does not hold up in a high use bath tub. Some companies do coatings that are more durable. Go to www.sanantoniosurface.com for helpful info.

I am also interested in having my tub reglazed. I've done some research and will be using the company American Appliance refinishing and tub reglazing. I don't know where you are located but in CT they are very good. Check out the website at www.oldtubnewtub.com or call 1-800 newtub2.
