HI;
Some where maybe on a drywall site, i was reading about taping and sanding, i have done only my own , and i am confused a little, are you only to apply mud and tape lightly on the 3 applications , knock down in between by blade, and only sand on the final coat? i use different size blades each time and feather out, but i thought there was sanding in between each coat? confused, thanks

Both methods are correct....however after the final is more for experienced mudders. The technique you are using is correct and you might try going to sanding after the second coat. A very thin third coat can then be skimmed over which will require very little sanding
