I am replacing vanity and sink in guest bathroom, the original sink was glued directly to the wallboard and when it was removed it took a LOT of wallboard with it. I patched and sanded the wall, applied primer and painted, but now if you look at the wall you can clearly see the smoothness where I did the repair work compared to the textured feel of the original wallboard. Is there anything I can do to correct this??? Thanks!!!

I'm not sure if you have this problem or not but a lot of times a smaller nap roller was used on the patch. If you think it might be that use a large nap roller to match the existing paint.
