Does anyone have any tricks for removing paint overspray on brick? I have tried pressure washing, acetone and oops.

What type of brick is it that has the paint? Sandface, smooth common, wirecut, etc.? Everyone must remember that a brick is a hard clay sponge. Anything with moisture, applied to a brick, will have some of that moisture potentially absorbed into the unit... not only paint, but grape juice, wine, ketchup, and mustard can stain too!

The best removers (Sure Klean is one manufacturer) need to be applied in the form of a poultice... a thick paste which will stay on the vertical surface... soaking into the brick and dissolving and breaking up the stain. You will often have to apply it several times in order for it to do the best job.
