I need the appox. going rate to hire a contractor to stucco my home. I reside in the sacramento area of california. I need 500 yards of stucco that will be applied over cinder block. A 2 coat application. The reason I need information is I really don't want to get ripped off when I start to take bids for the job. Any info will be greatly appreciated.

You don't have to get ripped off by contractors. You can estimate costs yourself using the same tools builders use, and it's surprisingly not expensive. Go to Contractor's Library at http://www.contractors-library.com they have estimating manuals, cost guides, and software that will let you know what the right price is so you can evaluate all your bids and choose the right one.

cheers,
Chris
