I have just replaced the toilet bowl and drops of water are escaping from a small hole at the back of and near to the top of the toilet bowl. It looks as though this hole is intended to be there. Before I take the whole thing out again can anyone help? Thanks

Have you checked the flapper in the tank?
Its chain should be just short enough to allow it to close fully.
Also, you might clean the flapper seat with steel wool or an abrasive pad for a better seal.
