This is my first time tiling. I tiled around my bathtub/shower. the tile had no built in spacers...I used no spacers...now I am stressed.the maximum amount of grout between any 2 pieces of tile is 1/16 of an inch. many have less.

Do I need to rip it out and start over with spacers?

cdsn2, you might want to post this in the ceramic tile forum, down in the 'decorate' section, if you haven't already done so. Tileman or one of the other pros there can can give you a better answer. But I don't think that a 1/16" or less space between the tiles is enough to give you a water resistive seal, as is needed in a shower. It may well be that you need to remove the tile and reset it with the proper spacers. Whatever you do, wait for a definitive answer BEFORE you grout the tiles. Removing them after they are grouted will be one big pain!!
