I have had a leaking bath tub faucet for over three years. I have replaced numerous washers and valve seats, and the hot water
side leaks continously. I have replaced the entire faucet set about 2 months ago, and started leaking again. I have spent close to 100 dollars on this. I feel like I may have to tear out the wall and replace the whole system. Any clues? Let me know.

David, I am with you when you say you have replaced the seats and washers (numerous times). When you say you replaced "the entire faucet set", do you mean you replaced the stem, or the entire tub valve? When you say you have spent close to $100 on this, I get the feeling you have only replaced the stem.
You might be better off replacing the entire valve set. It's possible that an exact replacement for your stem is simply no longer available. You will find one that is close, but "close" doesn't count in valve stems. I have run into this in the houses in my neighborhood, and these houses are only 45 years old.
