Hi everyone. I am redoing my bathroom, and I would like some suggestions on what to use for a blacksplash around my counter top. The countertop is orginal to the mobile home, nothing fancy. I really don't want to use tile, because I honestly don't want to deal with all of that, plus there is no other tile in the room. My floors are going to be a black & white vinyl . So if anyone has any easy, inexpensive ideas it would be appreaciated.

If tile is not an option, some folks go with a plastic laminate to cover the area, selecting the same or a complementary color to the counter top. Some go with a vinyl wallpaper which is scrubbable. While semi-gloss latex is more enduring of washing than flat latex paint, it still absorbs grease stains behind the cook top.
