I laid a strandboard (looks like large wood shavings glued together - OSB??) subfloor not realising that it is not suitable for use under wood floors as I guess it doesn't hold the nails very well. Can I put a wood floor down if I glue it as well as nail it or maybe could I attach it with finish screws. I don't want to use 'floating' engineered wood.

Thanks
