I have this very old house. It has about a dozen layers of wall paper on the walls and about half as much on the ceiling.
It is very loose in layers and looks terible with all the seems.
Instead of removing all this I was thinking maybe there is a product I can use to cover the wall so I can plaster?
Is there such an item as a metal mesh that I can nail to the wall and then plaster onto? I want the plaster to hold well.
Any suggestions? I also have to fix the ceilings.
