Does anyone have experience with the combo countertop/same material sink like what is offered in Home Depot called Korstone or Corian? Does it chip?

I like the idea that it is an integrate unit and probably easy to clean. Any other makers (I think there is something called Marblux) that makes a 60 inches 2 sink unit?

Most vanity sinks are pre-formed out of various materials, and they have different chip characteristics.
Corian is good, plastic is not.
While most are chip-resisistant, any thing heavier and harder can chip them if you drop it on it or slam it with it.
Just get one that looks good, and is reasonably priced.
Good luck!

5 years ago we renovated our ensuite. I replaced the laminate countertop with a solid surface top. Corion is an excellent product because of the wide variety of colour combos and the custum edging and colour inserts you can order. Because of the variety the price is very high. They offer what some manufacturers can't. We happened to choose Acryflex. A solid surface with a sink moulded to the top. We've never experienced any chipping or cracking but that's not to say dropping something heavy or sharp will not mar the surface. The good thing is that because the colour goes all the way thru you can repair it your self by lightly sanding and blending the blemish. Buy a well known product and you can't go wrong.

The Korstone is about 40 % cheaper than Corian costwise. Good product for the buck. Check their warrantee, it will give you the best insight on the product.
