I just had my wood floors refinished and there are small, popped, dried bubbles in the finish. Should I get them to come back and redo it?The guy says this is typical. I don't buy it. Any thoughts?.

Bubbles can be caused by several things, such as using the wrong type applicator or a contaminated applicator. Contaminated surface, such as failure to properly remove soaps or cleaners before applying finish. Improper screening between coats. Incompatible finish can also cause bubbles as well as other reasons. Problems in the top finish coat may require rescreening and recoating. Severe finish problems tend to require resanding and refinishing. You can learn more about finishing wood floors at www.finishingwoodfloors.com.
