Do you see any reason why I cannot apply a wood veneer over a concrete fireplace mantel? The mantel is 30" above the fireplace opening. The veneer is .062 thick paper backed.
What type of adhesive would perform the best under higher than normal heat and also allow rolling the veneer out flat?
advice

Where did you acquire your veneer product?
I would think a woodworkers supply home center could give you some advice on applying wood veneers.
