I have lead paint on the exterior of my house and was told that new paint won't adhere or last very long. Is this true? If so, is there something I might apply or do first to make it last longer? Thanks, B

barbieE, After what ever washing has been done prime the house with a good oil based primer. This will bond to whats there and you can follow this with paint of your choice....Mike
