I just bought a house that has a garage converted to a studio. We had some strips of carpet laid through the room so we would not damage the parquet while we were moving. We unknowingly left a section hanging out under the door. We had some rain, and this soaked up, and brought in, a lot of water. There is now 3'x3' section inside the door where the individual strips in the tiles are separating, and the whole section is buckled by about 2."

To fix this problem, I figure I must pull up all the affected tiles, and install new ones. Does this sound right? Any pointers to info on how to do this?

Thanks,
