I am currently removing old carpet that is dry rotted from a home I recently purchased. Underneath the carpet is padding that has turned to clay and is bonded to the floor. What can I use to get this off the floor. Currently I am scrapping but it is very hard labor and time consuming. Three days for a 14 x 14 room. Are there products to help make this easier?:confused:
