I want to paint my family room here soon ,but I'm a little unsure of what colors to use. I have dark green and burgandy furniture, There is also light wood chair rail on the walls. I was thinking some sort of a brown? I don't want to go too light on count of young kids and smoking in the room. Any suggestions would help. Thanks

If you ask me I would use a Capacino color for the walls and a beige colr for the trim and celing This is what I did for my mother in laws living room she had almost the same color furniture and she also has 2 kids at home still and they smoke and it looks wonderful
