I want to install a new floor in the kitchen, but I want to get rid of the vinyl cove molding and replace it because it's been painted over at least once and looks really bad. Is there a way to take this stuff off without taking the drywall with it?

Generally, no. Maybe try a heat gun to soften the adhesive a little, but it will probably pull the face paper right off the sheetrock. Good luck.
