Hi,
I recently bought a house that was built in 1973. Many of the walls are covered with this brick veneer. Or they are covered with very cheap paneling which was painted over. I have removed the paneling in one room and the hallway. There seems to be old liquid nails that we tried sanding, scrapping, solutions, etc. on and then used killz primer and painted over them.
Problem: You can still see some of the lines from the glue. Any suggestions? Someone went crazy with the stuff in the hallway.
Problem two: How do we get the brick veneer off? Some of it is on no load bearing walls, some by windows. Any suggestions?
Thanks.
