We sanded our floors to the bare wood and applied Valspar Stain & Varnish - 2 coats. It's doubly dark around the edges and has a lot of areas of brush marks, etc. We're moving into the house in 2 days and wondered if there was anything to lessen the disaster such as lightly steelwooling, etc.
