View Full Version : Radiator Alternative?

We currently have hot water radiators in our home. The radiator in the living room sticks way out and takes up alot of space. The way the room is shaped it is really hard to place furniture. Is there any alternative to these big Oafy radiators or at least a way to move them to a more convenient location?

You could replace them with baseboard radiators, or perhaps a wall radiator of a different configuration (narrower). However, you must maintain the same amount of surface area (for heat radiation), otherwise, the room will be colder.

You could also move the radiator to another location, which requires re-piping the feed and return lines. Heating system will have to be drained and re-filled, to do this.
