 It is raining now and I noticed that the mexican tile I have had on my enclosed porch appears to be wet. I have had it down for 3 or 4 years and never noticed this before. I pressure cleaned it a couple of months ago. Is the moisture coming from underneath? Our house is on a concrete slab. I know the rain did not blow in. Is it possible I un-sealed it and will moisture creap up? I'm very confused. Thanks

It could be that the moisture on the tile is nothing more than condensation caused by the warm, humid air condensing on the cool surface of the tile. If the tiles were sealed with a surface sealant to give the tiles a glossy or semi-glossy finish, it is possible that you removed the sealant and they will need to be resealed. If a penetrating sealer was used, the sealant is absorbed deep into the pores of the tile to make them water and stain resistant.
Pour a teaspoon of water on a tile and observe what happens. Is the water being absorbed into the tile? Is the tile repelling the water? If the water is not being absorbed, you and your tiles are o.k. If the water is being absorbed into the tiles, then sealing has become an issue.
