I'm building a 3 x 5 walkin shower and thinking about using the same travertine 12" x 12" tile on the ceiling as we use for the rest of the shower. Since this area will have little water on it, can I attach directly to existing ceiling dry wall ( above existing smaller shower ). What should I use to attach these tiles with adequate bonding. Thanks.

Typically, the shower ceiling is tiled first if installing tile in the shower. A high-quality mastic is used. Go to www.doityourself.com/ceramic for helpful info.
