Want to use (real) Mexican Saltillo Tile inside home (kitchen and on a cement slab in living room)...am getting conflicting info on what REAL Mexican Saltillo is! Home Depot has "real" that seems to be less than 1/2 " thick...am told real is up to 1 inch thick (no way I can use anything that thick as it must abut Oak flooring in same room).
What is Real? 12"? thickness? (unsealed)...color is sort of terra cotta with bit of yellow streaking I think. am getting prices from $1 per square up to $5 per square!
not sure if I should do it myself or hire contractor.
Any advice on this would be appreciated (Orlando area)
