We are building a new home and are thinking about using granite tiles in the kitchen for countertops. We have installed ceramic tile before and have some concerns about granite. What type of sub material should be place under the granite tile? Does it need to be sealed? How are the ends finished off? Can granite tiles be cut with a tile wet saw? Any information would be helpful on installing this type of countertop. Thanks!
