I have an existing terazzo floor. The flooring is very pale and has had carpet and laminate tiles both glued to the terazzo. What needs to be done to the terazzo before setting the ceramic tiles.

Hi Ian,
I would get all the glue off and then rough up the terrazzo. If the glue is not water soluble, use a solvent. Start out by trying paint thinner. Small areas at a time, plenty of ventilation and no flames or smoking.
