Our carpenter just installed a new solid oak entry door. The top corner of the door is warped and does not close tightly. We have installed two other doors just like this with no problem. Is there a way to get the warp out of this door short of replacing it? I have not sealed it yet because he had to trim it at installation time, but I am planning to do it today, as I know it needs protection from the elements. We live in a cold climate but are expecting weather in the 40's for the next few days. Thanks for any suggestions you can provide!

Is it the door that is warped, or is it the jamb that is not straight? A long level (48" min.) should tell you that. It may be that the carpenter can adjust the door jamb so the door closes tightly in in.
