I need to replace a piece of glas in an aluminum frame that has triangular shaped spring loaded pieces of aluminum that apparently hod the glass in. How do I 1.)get those pieces out without destroying them, and 2.) replace the glass?

Best to call a glass shop and let them replace the glass. It's about 100% certain that you will bend the retainer and not be able to replace it. That will leave you with the option of replacing the window. The $75 to $100 the glass shop will charge to replace the glass is less.
