View Full Version : Furnace vent heat exchanger

I'd like to add a heat exchanger (I think that's the right term) to the flue / vent ducting of our furnace. The heat lose through the chimney is more then I want. I'd like to replace the furnace but for now I'd rather reclaim some of that lost heat.
Does anyone have any ideas of who manufactures items like this or have any tips on install?

The only tip I can give you is get yourself a goo licenced technician ar contact your local oil, gas, or coal supplier and let them make this call
