I want to install roller shades--not those cell things-- on my windows. I want them to pull up from the window sill. Does anyone know what hardware I can use at the top of the window to allow the shade to move up and down freely?

You must go to a shop that makes custom window shades. The brackets are special sill brackets, the roller is a continuous spring tension roller and a special locking type pulley is used in the center of the top of the window. A cord mounted in the center of the shades bottom pocket runs up through the pulley and the shade lifts from the sill to the head. A little unusual, but it can be done.
