Where can I get information on how to create the many different stucco finishes seen on houses? Some I can figure out but not all.

At the moment I can only offer suggestions. I believe I remember a seeing pamphlet on stucco finishes from the Portland Cement Association. They maintain a web site, but all of their pamphlets and books are for sale only. Contact a local stucco finish coat supplier. They may have free or low cost pamphlets available. National Gypsum or the Drywall and Plasters Association may be of help also. If you do find a comprehensive resource in a single location I would be amazed. No doubt, the more common finishes are readliy available, but the ones that are made up on the spot are hard for anyone to duplicate.

Thank you for your suggestion. I now have the "Portland Cement Plaster(Stucco) Manual" from the PCA. Among other useful information it contains color photos and details for obtaining 28 stucco finishes.
To whom it may concern "Thanks again"

I too found this information useful and have also ordered the manual and downloaded some free pfd files.

Leave it to the PCA for up to date authoritative works! Wow, 28 color photographs beats the old days of text only.
