I am trying to clean a concrete patio that is covered with grime and dirt. It is about 30 years old and is under a big oak. I have scrubed it with a brush but it still looks dirty. Will the muriatic acid work for me?

Rent a powerwasher or hire it done. If you powerwash yourself keep the rate of movement constant; the wand tip at 90 degrees to the surface and at a constant distance, and overlap each pass by at least 1/3. It helps to pre-wet the surface and apply a cleaner such as TSP in water prior to powerwashing.
