I own an old home with a small kitchen. The stove has never had a fan or range hood, because there really isn't any room for it. Is there something I can do it vent air out of kitchen, either through the window or attic. I have only one light switch for the whole kitchen, but extra outlets that I could use if re-wiring needed to be done for a on/off switch.

There are kitchen exhaust fan units made to be installed in an exterior wall. Check at a building supply.
